For the last 25 years, Karin Jeske has managed fashion-oriented product lines that have included home furnishings, home decor,textiles, apparel, accessories and floral.  See Linkedin profile.

With her undergraduate degree in Textile Design from the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science (now Philadelphia University), her career started in the New York garment center, in apparel and textile design for JP Stevens, then Phillips-Van Heusen.

In her efforts to evolve product lines that would benefit both the company and the customer, she became interested in product line

analysis and profitability, and has always sought out the latest tools to crunch the numbers and combine the data with her innate fashion sense to grow successful assortments. 

Karin quickly advanced to senior management, serving in both merchandising and marketing roles, and went on to earn her MBA in 1998 from Pepperdine University, while working full-time.  

For the past 20 years, she has led product initiatives at companies such as Levolor Home Fashions, Cecil Saydah, Smith+Noble, Teleflora and 3 Day Blinds, creating product lines that produce incremental sales and increase gross margins.  In addition, she has served on executive committees with strong contributions in strategic planning and general company management.

From 2012-2017 Karin and her team have been primarily focused on Blinds.com, a division of The Home Depot.  They have been responsible for the online merchandising strategy and execution for Blinds.com and other Global Custom Commerce web properties, during a period of rapid growth.

Their work includes overall product vision for each property, product development and design, vendor proposal evaluation, assortment selection and documentation, internal and competitive analysis, pricing, promotion calendar development and margin performance.

They also collaborate with The Home Depot to administer their online custom window treatment initiatives.

Karin has developed programs for retailers of all sizes, from independent, local shops to Wal-Mart and Home Depot.  She also has extensive experience in the direct marketing environment, including online (e-commerce and lead generation) and catalog.  She has been involved with the internet since the late 90's having led several successful website launches, most recently, 3 Day Blinds in September 2010.  Karin has extensive experience in SEM, SEO, Local Search and blogging.

Her consulting company, StyleData (originally named Miller Merchandising) was founded in 2002.  As a consultant, she has broadened her scope with a wide variety of assignments where she has successfully added value quickly.

Karin is also the owner of Tesselle Decorative Cement Tiles, a company that designs and markets unique tiles.

Karin has been a member of Color Marketing Group since 1990 and a Chairholder since 1994. Karin is active in youth mentoring programs and her church.  She enjoys travel, photography and racquetball. She lives and works in California, and is married to Daniel Jeske, who is a professor in the Statistics Department at University of California, Riverside.
